This Summer it will be 8 years since I had my first baby.  With the youngest just turning 3, this is the longest stint in nearly 9 years that I haven’t been pregnant.  Three babies in five years was – for the most part, a good plan. I remain mirror-less, wifi-less and husband-less. Not all of this is bad. Life with only partial views of my body is kind of liberating. I rely on a (possibly inaccurate) mental picture that shows me looking quite fabulous, twinned with the sometimes harsh verdict of a four-year old, to tell me how old clothes sit on an older body. Today is a good day. Today I look like a princess. Apparently. The lack of wifi is bothering me much less than I thought it might. It’s kind of nice to plonk down on the couch and not feel like I should tidy up…
