So, exciting news, World Breastfeeding Week 2014 runs from Friday 1 August to Thursday 7 August.  Bet that snuck up on you and has you wondering where the last year went, eh?  Well as a proud owner of two breasts that are currently in ‘milk production’ mode I wasn’t aware of the ‘big event’ myself ’til just the other day, so don’t feel too bad. From the time I was expecting my first baby, and ever since, I am frequently told how fast time flies and children grow. How one day you share your house with megalomaniac toddlers, and the next with moody teens. Nearly five years on, I can already see how true the cliche is.  It’s only when I look back at photos or sort through teeny tiny baby clothes that I remember the stages of their lives, and ours, that have gone by, and that won’t be back. Bumbles of Rice is running a lovely blog linky (A Week in Dinners) to look at what real families are eating for dinners – and not what makes it to Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest.
