It’s been about two years since I finished my epic Roses and Daisies Blanket and I nearly think I’m ready for another! This time, be under no illusions, this throw / blanket / afghan would all mine, mine, mine.

I’m trawling for ideas and am off to set up a little board on Pinterest where all my good ideas can go to either die or flourish.

So far I’m in love with this Cluster Burst Granny Square Afghan from Petals to Picots CrochetThere is a free pattern available here:  http://www.petalstopicots.com/2014/06/cluster-burst-granny-square-pattern/, and it’s a lovely modern and non-fussy blanket – just what I like.  The only snag is that I’m tempted to do a single or larger piece project simply so I can save myself from having to sew all those ends in.  What’s more, with a bigger piece I’d save myself the stress of waking up in the middle of the night, months after the bloody thing is finished, thinking the whole bloody this is about to unravel.

Humm….the jury is out on this one.  All ideas and suggestions gladly accepted!
